Application
H-GAC will begin accepting applications for housing recovery assistance in late fall 2012. Due to program limitations, participation is limited to low to moderate income households or property owners that rent to low to moderate income households. The house or rental unit must have documented Hurricane Ike damage. Damage sustained as a direct result of having long term unrepaired Ike damage may also qualify for repair. Please visit our website periodically for updates. The H-GAC Ike Disaster Recovery Housing Program is for people whose primary home or housing rental properties were damaged by Hurricane Ike September 13, 2008. Specific eligibility requirements apply. Assistance may be in the form of Housing Rehabilitation, Reconstruction or Replacement. No cash assistance will be provided.

Are you a property owner whose primary home, or single and/or multifamily housing rental property, is still damaged and in need of repair or reconstruction due to Ike? |

Are you unable to fully repair the damage and its after effects with aid from FEMA, insurance, or other sources of assistance? |

Is your home in one of the following six counties: Austin, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Matagorda, Walker or Waller? |

Are you a low to moderate income household?
